L O B 14"  358 mm

A  particularly good looking  German violin made for the English market, this Strad copy is virtually unmarked. The two piece back features highly decorative tonewood, the figure in the wood descending from the centre, the matching ribs but plainer and slightly asymmetric scroll. Well set up with a French bridge and soundpost, Pirastro Tonica strings, and, of course, a new case and bow.

SV 199: 4/4 German violin c. 1930
