A good clean Mirecourt instrument, bearing the trade name "Mansuy" on internal label.
The instrument has an attractive red varnish over yellow ground, and has lightly figured tonewoods with a plain neck and deeply fluted sculptural scroll. As with all our instruments, it is well set up with 4 new French pattern pegs, seasoned French bridge and soundpost.
Fitted with Dominant strings, it has a full tone and strong voice. Supplied with a new oblong case and good quality bow.
