A German Trade violin in quality tonewoods, in a pleasant orange brown varnish over a light brown ground, a nicely figured two piece back ascending fron the centre, the plainer neck and scroll.  A well repaired and reinforced crack at the right lower bout prices this instrument at about half its intrinsic value, given its strong  well balanced voice. Well set up with French bridge & soundpost and Dominant strings, new case and bow.  This is a bargain!
