A good clean violin from one of the wellknown workshop centres of Germany in a characteristic mid brown varnish with a well figured two piece back the figure descending gently from the centre; the plainer ribs and scroll, the front in a tight grain spruce. Well set up with new French bridge and soundpost, and Pirastro Tonica strings, new case and bow.
